The Siyum Mishnayos Melave Malka , an annual YIR event, has taken place since 1975, featuring presentations by our youth and by a
distinguished guest speaker.
This year was held at Young Israel on March 1st featured guest speaker Rabbi Yehuda Willig.
The youth misaymim are: Davi Friedberg, Aviel Inzlicht, Eitan Lew, Yisrael Chaim Mernick, Isaac Moskovitz, Shmuel Rackovsky,
Mordechai Rosenbaum, & Shmuel Spira.
The fabulous program is coordinated by Dr. Martin and Paulette Katzenstein and Dr. Michael Buckstein.
It is generously sponsored by the Samson Family in memory of Shlomo ben Shalom z”l . The Melave Malka meal was followed by a kumsitz.
Bikur Cholim of Riverdale wishes to inform you that the Bikur Cholim Room at Montefiore Hospital and the Bikur Cholim House 3 blocks away will be fully stocked with food for Yom Tov. The Bikur Cholim apartment at Columbia’s Och Spinal hospital (formerly Allen Pavillion) will also be fully stocked with food for yom tov. New volunteers are welcome and urged to join. The KCI Kosher Food Pantry continues to provide basic non-perishable and seasonal perishable food items, including produce (like potatoes, oranges and cucumbers), chicken and eggs. The food has been made available to the Pantry at no-cost by Met Council and is available for anyone who thinks that a little extra help will benefit you and/or your family. Everything is confidential. No Vetting process. Pantry deliveries can be delivered directly to your home and shopping in our pantry during the open hours or by private appointments.
