Once more this year, Young Israel is making available a Sukkah Registry. This enables Young Israel families to offer
their hospitality to other families in need of a sukkah. In order to arrange Sukkah “matches”, interested Young Israel families
are asked to please follow these guidelines in order to assure accuracy so that your experience will be as pleasant as is possible
1- your name
2- your address
3- your cell phone numbers if there are two persons who may be called
4- English dates and which meals desired and not eg“first day yom tov” etc.
5- ages and gender of children
6-Special requests like high chairs etc
Please email dretter@retterlaw.com with your requests either to host or to guest for this joyous yom tov.
Many long term friendships have developed from these hospitality occasions.

Bikur Cholim of Riverdale wishes to inform you that the Bikur Cholim Room at Montefiore Hospital and the Bikur Cholim House 3 blocks away will be fully stocked with food for Yom Tov. The Bikur Cholim apartment at Columbia’s Och Spinal hospital (formerly Allen Pavillion) will also be fully stocked with food for yom tov. New volunteers are welcome and urged to join. The Bikur Cholim of Riverdale Medical Equipment Gemach, named in memory of Dr. Mark Ellen, Elimelech ben Chaim Yehoshua Hakohen loans out medical equipment at no charge to those in need in the Riverdale community. The KCI Kosher Food Pantry continues to provide basic non-perishable and seasonal perishable food items, including produce (like potatoes, oranges and cucumbers), chicken and eggs. The food has been made available to the Pantry at no-cost by Met Council and is available for anyone who thinks that a little extra help will benefit you and/or your family. Everything is confidential. No Vetting process. Pantry deliveries can be delivered directly to your home and shopping in our pantry during the open hours or by private appointments.
